Honorable David C. Lee (Ret.)

Since 1983, Judge Lee has been a Judge of the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Alameda, Department 19.

The Hon. David C. Lee (Ret.) has been President Emeritus of the Board since 1996.  He was the founding Board President of LAS, and served in that capacity for over thirteen years.  Since 1983, Judge Lee has been a Judge of the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Alameda, Department 19.  Previously, he was a Commissioner of the Superior Court for nine years.

Judge Lee's civic and charitable activities include:

• Teacher and Lecturer for California Judges College, University of California Continuing Education of the Bar, etc.
• Member, since 1982 of the Lake Merritt Breakfast Club (sponsors of the Necklace of Lights, Lake Merritt in Oakland, and the Children's Fairy Land)
• Board Member of the Bay Area Little Symphony (1976-80)
• Executive Committee of the State Bar of California, Section on Probate, Trust and Estate Planning (1975-83)

Judge Lee is currently retired.
