Melinda Sesto

Melinda Sesto joined LAS Board of Directors in May 2006. Ms. Sesto is an advocate, problem solver, mediator, attorney and special event planner with a strong background in risk analysis, settlement negotiations, event creation, legal compliance and due diligence.

Her background includes developing and marketing small and large scale events, analyzing and negotiating insurance claims, and creating and producing events. She has an exceptional ability to gain trust of, and work with, high maintenance individuals, attorneys, planning officials, insurance agents and management of all levels. Ms. Sesto is skilled in taking event promotion ideas from concept to completion under budget, with limited resources.

Melinda received her B.A. in economics in 1985 at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she was a member of the Economic Honors Society. She received her J.D. cum laude in 1999 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she was note and comment editor of the International and Comparative Law Journal.
