Erika Falk, Psy. D.
Erika Falk, Psy. D. is a licensed clinical
psychologist with specialized training in geropsychology and refugee
mental health. She graduated from the Wright Institute in Berkeley,
California with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology in 2001. Her
postdoctoral training included an internship at Survivors
International, a non-profit organization that provides psychosocial and
psycholegal services for survivors of political persecution and torture
and a placement at Bay Area Psychological Testing Associates where she
conducted psychological assessments with diverse clients.
From May 2003 to December 2004, Erika worked as a clinician/trainer in Guinea, West Africa and subsequently was awarded, as a team member, the 2005 APA Humanitarian Award. Her current position is with the Institute on Aging as a supervising psychologist, training pre and post-doctoral students in the conduct of evaluations of elders with cognitive impairment.
