Michele has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management

Michele Drier - LAS Executive Director, has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management, serving as Executive Director for a broad range of California nonprofit service agencies including sexual assault crisis counseling, women’s shelter and employment programs and child care programs.

In addition, Michele has been a reporter and editor at California newspapers, including the San Jose Mercury News and the Modesto Bee and has researched and written series on such topics as rape, the California levee system and jail overcrowding.
