Are you a law student looking for real world experience? Our
law clerks assist clients and provide legal support to staff attorneys
at LAS. They are responsible for providing excellent service to
clients with legal problems, doing legal research and writing,
performing tasks assigned by staff attorneys, and otherwise providing
support to the staff attorney to whom s/he is assigned.

This volunteer helps attorneys and advocates with their case files,
does the conflicts check on all new cases, assists with data entry,
maintains the client case filing system, assists with case review
paperwork, assists with production of closing letters and other routine
casework correspondence, and provides copying support for advocates and
outreach coordinators.
