2008 Elder Abuse Conference Registration is Now Open!

Join more than 300 elder abuse prevention advocates at Legal Assistance for Seniors' 4th Annual Elder Abuse Conference.

Registration fees are $300 nonprofit/government and $400 Corporate/Private Bar.

    “Elder Abuse Forensic Centers: A Step Forward”
Elder Abuse Forensic Centers are an innovative response to complex abuse cases.

Such cases are notoriously difficult to resolve and prosecute. This panel will introduce
the three Elder Abuse Forensic Centers in California, including the newly
inaugurated center in San Francisco. Each is at a different point in its organizational
development, and each utilizes a unique model.

    William H. Frey, II. Ph.D., Professor and Director, Alzheimer’s Research Center
    Regions Hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota
Patients with Alzheimer’s disease have an insulin deficiency in
the brain that has been refered to as “diabetes of the brain”. Dr. Frey will discuss his research and cutting edge , non-invasive treatment.
  • NETWORKING RECEPTION, Monday, May 5
We're crossing our fingers for good weather so we can relax at the end of Day 1 on the patio outside the Hilton Ballroom and enjoy each other's company with a glass of wine and hors d'oeuvres.
